Welding Construction Associate in Applied Science Degree
What is Welding Construction?
Construction welding is typically done with SMAW or FCAW, and it is done mainly outdoors. Construction includes the installation of tanks or piping equipment, building bridges, or buildings. Construction welding is year round and is done in all types of weather as well as above and below ground. SMAW, stick, and FCAW, flux core, are used because they require minimal equipment and does not require the use of shielding gas.
